The bic speakers are top of the line the best i have owned work well with my pioneer VSX-919AH really clear sound no distortion at all.rather large for front speakers if your planing on wall mounting speaker stands would probly work better but mine are hanging on mounts I was so happy with the sound i have since bought a set of dv52si in black for the rear to replace the old kenwood that are now in servic as the side speakers im now 7.1 with the playstation3 in service as the blue ray player and call of duty 4 happy in alabama. Great sound for a good price could not be more pleased.
The sound and power through all ranges is fantastic. I concur with the recommendations of the others that steered me to these speakers.
Not being an audiophile, I called them back and again, reached someone in Tech support that assisted me with clarification on settings prior to using the Denon setup program. After reading countless posts on Amazon about home theatre in general and specifically these speakers; I purchased two pair for front and rear and combined them with a BIC FH6-LCR center and BIC V1220 sub. BIC has earned by business and I will be back for more.next the pool deck for summer; I can hear the neighbors already. This is a huge plus for me, I wouldn't expect to need customer service on a set of speakers, but after trying to communicate with other companies that have relegated this role to someone speaking english as a second language, this was refreshing. These need to be broken in before cranking them up, so I have been playing some vintage Supertramp along with some classical and I must say, if these get better as they break-in, what an incredible speaker for the money. Also, I had a couple questions regarding the sub set up when connecting to my Denon and called BIC sales yesterday, after a short ring and selecting sales, a very helpful young lady who spoke AMERICAN english answered my question and I was on my way.
But it's more bearable with these. People say that loudspeakers in general tend to distort most on complex choral works, especially with male voices. Not perfect, but the best speakers I have owned (always inexpensive) in over 40 years of listening to classical music. This after six weeks of listening to orchestral and chamber works, plus a heavy dose of choral music.
I'm completely happy with them. They are very inexpensive but sound better than the much more expensive and bulky speakers I replaced with these. Based on overall great reviews on amazon, I bought these speakers. I'm extremely pleased.
